Today it is Martech Day! 🎉 Looking forward to what Scott Brinker and Frans Riemersma are coming up with later today. We need some proper revolutions going to get to BETTER MARTECH FOR A BETTER WEB. Not just more pixels and less cookies.. 😉 And then next is Rebels 43 🔜 AntiCon 23rd of May. Hope to catch the anti-conference spirit there. And see which innovators and early adopters are ready to rebel with martech that creates win-win-wins.

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.1️⃣ Read - billions of people read the web2️⃣ Write - billions of people write the web3️⃣ Own - billions of people own the webHighly recommend giving “Read Write Own” a chance. Especially when you are worried about AI (centralization of power; fake content and identities) and/or belief web3 is just hype/speculation. The computer side of web3 is very real. And it will transform how the web and martech works for the better.

Read 📕 Write ✍ Own 🔐 is a great book from Chris Dixon. It explains the potential of blockchain networks on internet business in understandable terms. Very little lingo or pre-required knowledge. I highly recommend it for everyone working on/with internet solutions. If you don't read it.. watch this video. Hear why current take-rates of corporate networks are unsustainable. And, how blockchain networks will provide better alternatives.I argue the same applies to many martech SaaS vendors that are operating as corporate networks. Removing the customer data layer from corporate networks and putting it on chain will mean huge advancements in efficiency and effectiveness.

Phygital or Diggy-fizzy? I'm seeing great solutions to connect physical ownership to digital owernship. Like tapping a product with your mobile to generate a tokenized proof you are the owner based on an NFC connection. But the naming though... 🤯 Votes please..
